Retreat

What is a Retreat?

A weekend of learning about EWB, professional development, systems thinking, planning, fun, and visioning.

Retreats are key for aligning goals, values, and information between chapters and from experienced to new members.

What's Western Professional Retreat?

The Western-area Professional Chapters of EWB are gathering in Canmore November 8th through 10th. There is a very similar Eastern retreat planned for the Eastern area Professional Chapters.

Join Vancouver City Network, Calgary Pro Chapter, and Edmonton City Network for leadership development, systems thinking, planning for City Networks, learning about EWB, and of course lots of fun networking meeting other EWBers. It's going to be fun, challenging, a lot of hard work, and very rewarding.

Check out this summary document.

Are there Bursaries?

Through cost-sharing with the other chapters, flights will be partially subsidized. These subsidies depend on attendance numbers, and will be reimbursed after retreat.

Chapter bursaries are also available to partially subsidize flight costs to members for whom costs are a prohibitive factor. Chapter bursaries will be reimbursed to chapter members via cheque. Apply here.
